The dust has barely settled on Rio 2016, but Tokyo 2020 is already on the horizon with Karate as a new addition to this Olympic cycle. Karatekas at the top of their game now have the opportunity to compete in the greatest show on earth and PerformancePro is going to help.

About PerformancePro Karate 2020 training programme

PerformancePro is offering a structured, planned and highly professional Karate strength and conditioning programme. This free support and commitment to potential Team GB karatekas will train these athletes to be fitter, stronger, faster and more powerful.

Tokyo may seem a long way off but with only 3 years until selection is made to represent GB, elite athletes are already in full preparation. No more so than the men and women hoping to be the first Team GB karatekas to compete at an Olympic games.

Most British Karate athletes compete to the highest standards with no support from larger sporting bodies to help fund training, travel, accommodation etc. So PerformancePro is there to help by doing what we do best!

Alton Brown (pictured above) is a PerformancePro client. He is also European and World medallist, English Karate Team captain and competitor and Team Manager for BUCS National GB Team. Alton has this to say about PerformancePro’s approach,

“I’ve always felt in good hands at PerformancePro, working with their qualified coaches who know what they’re talking about. The gym facilities are fantastic. When you’re mentally trying to prepare like a professional athlete it really goes a long way to train in a professional environment. Right equipment, right staff, right focuses. Puts you in the right mindset. PerformancePro are passionate about athletes, I love that!”
