Brandon Price - PerformancePro coaching

Meet Brandon Price, PerformancePro strength and conditioning coach. Brandon’s love of adventure and passion for science-led strength and conditioning training has brought him from rural Australia to the heart of London.

In between his sessions with clients, we found out more about Brandon Price, the newest member of PerformancePro’s prestigious coaching team.

Brandon’s life before PerformancePro

Brandon Price grew up in rural Australia where Aussie rules football and cricket played a major role in his life. This fuelled his passion to seek a career in sport and led to his degree studying a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin University.

During his final year at Uni, Brandon had multiple internships including experience working between Cricket Victoria and its Academy. This involved working with both professional and promising cricketers. Then after his degree, Brandon opted to pursue a career in Strength and Conditioning and worked at ACE Performance for 2 years. Here, he gained an impressive depth and breadth of experience,

“At ACE Performance, I was exposed to coaching professional, semi-professional, amateur and aspiring athletes with a large focus on Speed and Agility. Part of my role at ACE was to also lead the S&C program for the Salesian College Sports Academy.”

In 2018, Brandon decided to make the most of his annual leave and travel through Spain, Portugal and Morocco. He fell in love with Europe and everything it has to offer,

Before he moved to the UK, Brandon searched for jobs in London and came across PerformancePro. He decided to reach out to the team,

And away from the gym?

Still new to London and this side of world, Brandon is always exploring and finding new things to do. And then there’s sport! Of course, you can take the man out of Australia but…

“A safe bet for me is watching Aussie rules, even if it means getting up early on a Sunday morning to catch the Australian Football League (Go Essendon!). I’m hoping to continue playing cricket and, who knows, maybe I’ll even try my hand at rugby!”

Brandon’s own fitness

Brandon aims to complete a minimum of 4 sessions a week of general strength training, to counteract his love of food,

“I tend to keep it simple and not reinvent the wheel of what science has proven to work for years. This coupled with riding to work on my vintage bike, my second love, keeps me active.”

Top 3 fitness Do’s and Don’ts?


  1. Adherence – Show up and do the work consistently.
  2. Set goals – Be precise with what you want to achieve.
  3. Have an open mind – Don’t get stuck in your ways. There is more than one way to skin a cat!


  1. Jump around like a kangaroo if you’ve been couch bound for an extended period. Progressively build into any form exercise.
  2. Follow the fads – There are an endless supply of fitness studios and trends that are claiming to be the next big thing. Ask yourself one question, is it individualised?
  3. Get unrealistic opinions from Instagram – People love to manipulate what you’re seeing for more business and likes.


For inspiration Brandon turns to podcasts as a great free resource,

“You can literally find anything you could ask for. The Joe Rogan and Tim Ferriss Shows are a classic.”

And books to recommend?

“A great book is Can’t Hurt Me: Master Your Mind and Defy the Odds by David Goggins. He is the only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force Tactical Air Controller. He also went on to set records in numerous endurance events.”
