When 45% of Olympic Team GB are women and sweating is ‘hot’ for female celebrities, why are there still so many obstacles for girls and women when it comes to sport?

Why is sport consistently defined as male territory?

And what is it really like to be an elite female athlete?

Eat Sweat Play is an engaging and inspirational work looking at and well beyond these questions. What does it mean to be a sporty woman in the 21st century?

‘Fascinating, compelling and thought-provoking’  The Pool

‘A piercing call to arms, [Anna] argues that if women and girls embrace being active, it will lead to a sea change for women’s bodies, self-image and outlook. It is brilliant.’  The Stylist
