Jamie Baird - PerformancePro (1)

Meet Jamie Baird, PerformancePro strength and conditioning coach. With a taste for success, Jamie has a fantastic track record training others, plus more than a few other strings to his bow!

Jamie trains a great variety of clients at PerformancePro, either here in our state-of-the-art training studio or out and about around London. His bike comes in handy! We caught up with him to find out more about the newest member of PerformancePro’s prestigious coaching team.

Jamie’s life before PerformancePro

Jamie has played sport from an early age, so and interest in a career in the fitness industry was a natural next step. He graduated from Loughborough University with a Sports Science degree before moving to London to work at the prestigious Espree Health Club. A brief stint at NIKE was followed by a year training and lecturing in Australia.

Jamie moved back to the UK in early 2000’s to be head trainer at the Sanderson Hotel, where he stayed until the pandemic.

As with many of our team, Jamie was attracted to PerformancePro’s unique combination of knowledge, approach, environment and kit!

And away from the gym?

Jamie loves and enjoys spending time with his three kids and his gravel bike! And when he isn’t being a dad, training or cycling, he’s also an entrepreneur!

Jamie modestly describes his business as ‘a side hustle making a gut loving wellness drink’.  Steeps One Shot is however established and successful.

In between clients, Jamie lifts and running 2-3 times a week at PerformancePro. He also cycles everywhere, runs a local track session close to where he lives and, on Sundays, you can find him pounding the gravel in Richmond Park.
